GOOD REMARKS – sodobni jazz kvintet, ki govori svojo zgodbo Kvintet GOOD REMARKS združuje pet izjemno nadarjenih mladih glasbenikov, ki se uveljavljajo na mednarodni glasbeni sceni. Gre za zasedbo, ki s svojo energijo, virtuoznostjo in umetniško zrelostjo ustvarja edinstveno koncertno izkušnjo. Njihova glasba temelji na avtorskih skladbah kontrabasista in skladatelja Tjana Šoštariča, ki skozi glasbo izraža svoje osebne in umetniške izkušnje. V skladbah se prepletajo elementi progresivnega jazza in tradicije. Zvok kvinteta – tenorski in altovski saksofon, klavir, kontrabas in bobni – deluje kot živahen glasbeni dialog, kjer vsak član prispeva svoj prepoznaven izraz. Rezultat je prefinjena, a hkrati dostopna glasba, polna groovea, lirike in spontanega prepletanja idej. GOOD REMARKS niso le skupina – so zgodba petih glasov z različnih koncev sveta, ki se srečajo v spoštljivem, ustvarjalnem in iskrenem glasbenem pogovoru. GOOD REMARKS – a contemporary jazz quintet that tells its own story The GOOD REMARKS quintet brings together five exceptionally talented young musicians who are making their mark on the international music scene. It is a band that, with its energy, virtuosity and artistic maturity, creates a unique concert experience. Their music is based on original compositions by double bassist and composer Tjan Šoštarič, who expresses his personal and artistic experiences through music. The compositions intertwine elements of progressive jazz and tradition. The sound of the quintet – tenor and alto saxophone, piano, double bass and drums – acts as a lively musical dialogue, where each member contributes their own recognizable expression. The result is sophisticated, yet accessible music, full of groove, lyricism and spontaneous interweaving of ideas. GOOD REMARKS is not just a group – it is the story of five voices from different parts of the world who meet in a respectful, creative and sincere musical conversation. Their performances impress with their freshness, depth, and genuine stage energy, which appeals to both jazz connoisseurs and a wider audience.
